Overcoming the Oxygen Shortage in India by ATD Group Amidst the Covid Crisis

Seeing the situation all around, it appeared that the COVID-19 pandemic would be cured. But suddenly there has been a sudden increase in cases in India. Several factors are responsible for this large increase in infections; however, the main challenge for hospitals in India is to get oxygen respirators and equipment.

India is currently suffering from a never-ending cycle of infection and death due to the availability of such equipment and paucity of money. Fortunately, a plethora of local organizations is helping to provide more

oxygen supplies and raise money for the equipment. Support of international organizations also is another important factor in the fight to end the oxygen shortage in India.

  1. Due to the recent crisis

India is the second-most populous country in the world and is home to billions of people of different origins. So overcrowding is a big problem. Here highly concentrated areas make social distancing difficult and social distancing itself prevents rapid transmission of disease during epidemics. Millions of people are in dire need of oxygen, but India doesn’t have the equipment to help. As a result, recent reports suggest a steady increase in the number of daily deaths.

Also, a change in the social distancing pattern in India may be the reason for the increase in the number of cases among the general population. Hindu festivals, as well as election rallies, have had a significant impact on infection rates in North India. In India’s capital Delhi, 16,699 cases were reported overnight after they attended a religious festival. On the banks of the Ganges in Uttarakhand, thousands of Indians gathered to practice their mass religious immersion to “wash away their sins”. However, the proximity of the population and urban mobility during these weeks led to a large increase in cases and contributed to the alarming spread of the epidemic.

2. How ATD Overcome at the time of oxygen crisis for help

ATD Group dedicated to supporting India with maximum contribution, along with SRAM and MRAM, committed to bringing 1 million oxygen concentrators and 40 generators to help India fight the infectious virus. The group is actively working to set up 60 plants in India and now, along with ATD Group, the company has successfully set up its five plants in many states of Rajasthan.

ATD Group is actively working to set up more factories in different cities of Rajasthan as per the mandate. The group is inactive touch with the state governments to address the current crisis or any future challenges. ATD Group meets the deadline to set up 60 factories in 2021.
